For Antonello Orecchioni and his family, growing Vermentino and making wine is a bit like going back to basics. A journey back in time, when as children, the village kids filled baskets with grapes and joyfully participated together with their families in the ritual of the grape harvest.

Passion for an Eternal Land
Harvesting will begin in early September, and the grapes that reach ripeness first will be picked by hand; it will continue in the following weeks by selecting the grapes plant by plant. They will arrive at the winery in small crates where, once the must is separated from the skins by gentle extraction, temperature-controlled fermentation will take place thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts. After the end of fermentation, natural aging will begin, which may vary depending on the vintage, at the end of which the wine will be bottled without the aid of filtration. Antonello and Tina Orecchioni patiently supervise and coordinate with passion and dedication all operations in the vineyard and in the winery , drawing inspiration from their mutual family experiences, both children of a culture and a community , the Gallurese and the Arzachenese that has always been nourished by the fruit of the vine.
